strawberry oatmeal
Unlike many families, we don’t usually eat cereal for breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, I love cereal! We grew up eating it at home, but I have always found that it doesn’t keep me full for very long. So when we added a kid into the mix, I started offering more substantial breakfasts, to reduce the likelihood of a late morning snacking. Truth me told though, we still snack a lot late morning … haha 😂.
Annnyways. One of the things that L and I love is oatmeal! Hubby doesn’t eat it, but most mornings he’s at work already when L and I eat, so I sometimes whip it up real quick. And with strawberries in abundance during summer, I’ve started adding them to our oats, along with a tiny dash of maple syrup.
Quick, four ingredients and, most importantly, toddler approved!
