Kaffee und Kuchen 

One of my favorite German traditions is the 3pm coffee and cake break ☺.

Growing up, we usually only upheld this tradition on the weekends, but when we’re with my parents these days, we often celebrate this tradition daily.

During an afternoon trip to Moers, we made a stop in a local Konditorei (cake shop), and enjoyed some cake.

I don’t know about you, but I generally don’t turn down cake 😉, especially when it’s my all time favorite Black Forest Cake 🍰!
