Hello! There is a section in the post about making this ahead of time and also a section about freezing it. It works better to bake it completely and then freeze it. Then you can reheat it in the oven and serve. I hope this helps! Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

Hello, i really want to make this dish ahead – would it work to prep it all and freeze before the cooking stage? Then defrost and Cook? Im just wondering if its ok with the sprite? Please let me know what you think? Thanks

Hi Theresa! Yes, it will work the same as the apples. Just make sure the peaches don’t get too juicy before you freeze them. If they do, just pat them dry with a paper towel.

I made your version of this dumpling recipe using fresh peaches, and it was fabulous! I will have to try the apples next time. I have more fresh peaches right now that I can’t finish and was thinking of freezing the dumplings. However, the peach recipe doesn’t mention freezing the finished dumplings as the apple recipe does. In your opinion, would it work?
