She is a wife and mother of three children who are the living reality of her best work.

She’s also a public speaker who has spoken to crowds of mere hundreds to thousands of guests at events like Time Out For Women and BYU Women’s Conference.

When not in the kitchen, Carrian spends most of her time taking long hikes and walks through the mountains around her home, watching sunsets cast scattering light across glimmering lakes or snuggling up with a good book. When it’s time for adventure she loves to grab her family and friends for weekend ski trips, boating on the lake, or traveling to distant countries. Carrian has blogged for almost 20 years and feels that with an ever-changing world, there’s still a place for real food and real people who care less about FOMO and more about moments turning into memories.
