Stop the bus and make this tonight! Pinkberry Milk Chocolate Crunch Topping! ohsweetbasil.com

Once upon a time I had to leave Cade and the girls and head off to California to be part of a Dole cookoff. The weather was perfect, our hotel was right on the beach and I had my first ever Pinkberry experience. For two years now I’ve been telling Cade that I wanted to make a copycat pinkberry milk chocolate crunch sauce and I’ve finally done just that.

One evening I was off on my own and Cade called to chat with the family. While we were talking I told him I was going to head to my room to get some work done so that when I got back to Utah I wouldn’t have as much to do and could just relax more. Cade immediately piped up and said, “Carrian, you are in California! We want you to have fun too! Go get yourself a special treat, get in your pajamas and watch HGTV while eating something delicious!”

And so I did. I’m not a workaholic at all, I try to really stay balanced, but when I’m away from home I work a ton so that when I’m home I can just focus 100% on the family. Well, this time I popped into Pinkberry and noticed the woman in front of me leaving with a crunchy chocolate topping. I was sold. I got raspberries and that pinkberry chocolate crunch sauce then watched Fixer Upper. It was perfection. As it that show. And now you can all make it from home!

I used to manage a Pinkberry. That’s the product you’re trying to recreate, you can also buy a tub for like $60 that’ll last forever in the fridge. Or 12 minutes at a Pinkberry with how much they sold of that stuff. It’s crack in a bucket.

Hi, Can you tell me where I can buy this packet ? For 60$ ?

      1. Sweet Basil says:

Hello! I’m not sure what packet you are referring to. Both the chocolate melts and rice cereal can be found at any grocery store. Please let me know what I can clarify for you!

Sweet Basil, what would you recommend to make a dark chocolate (bittersweet) variation since you don’t recommend chocolate chips?

    1. Sweet Basil says:

Adrienne, I would use a bar of high quality chocolate. 🙂

Where does the name come from?
Nothing pink about it, but sounds great.

    1. Sweet Basil says:

      Hi Charlie,

So Pinkberry is a frozen yogurt shop and this is a copycat of their chocolate sauce. 🙂
