In reply to Jaye. Hi Jaye! Yes, this recipe freezes great! Let it cool completely and store in an airtight container or ziploc bag. Let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight and warm it up in a slow cooker or on the stovetop.

I made this tonight and it was so delicious! My husband loved it! I cut back the brown sugar to half because my husband doesn’t like it sweet. He said it was perfect. I doubled the sauce (but not the brown sugar) so I could put it over rice.
