Lindy’s lemon ice is our favorite drink recipe for gatherings and parties, but especially showers as women love the light, nonalcoholic drink.

I am always incredibly hesitant to post drink recipes. We don’t drink coffee, tea, or alcohol and it seems like no one cares about drinks that don’t involve those three. It’s like I’m the one standing in the corner with kool-aid while the entire party walks around with champagne. I’m fully aware that a non-alcoholic drink isn’t that news breaking of a recipe, but this one has to be posted because gosh darnit, when it comes to a luncheon, bridal shower, baby shower or birthday party everyone needs drink recipe ideas and Lindy’s Lemon Ice has long been my favorite.
My friend Lindy is one of those people that has been blessed with a kind heart, perfect style, interior decorating and happens to be an amazing cook. You’d almost want to be envious but she has such a good soul it’s far better to just learn from her. This lemon ice drink recipe is her’s and we’ve used it for years now. The pebble ice from sonic is a must and the citric acid is bought in the pharmacy but don’t panic, it gives a nice little zing to the drink. It’s refreshing and perfect.

What is sonic ice
It is just the pebble ice. 🙂
This recipe sounds very tasty. Does it use the type of citric acid made for canning and making pickles?
Yes! We often can’t find it anywhere but in the pharmacy at our store or online, but we are starting to see the Ball and Now brand more in the aisles.
We will have to try this. My daughter and I have been searching for an outstanding recipe for her lemonade stand. There’s a big race coming through town. She wants to raise money for a mission trip by setting up during the race!
Thanks so much for the recipe!
Oh, great idea! Hope everyone enjoys it!
