With school starting on Monday (which I can hardly believe or wait for), is there a better way to start my culinary adventure than meeting a Top Chef?!?
The Capital Home Show is this weekend, and since the company I worked for until recently (before deciding to head to school) heads up the PR for the show, I thought I would stop by to say hello to my old co-worker Elyse. Yigit Pura, winner of Top Chef: Just Desserts Season 1, was there doing demos. After his chocolate demo, which was incredibly informative, I snapped a quick photo with him.
He was incredibly nice, sweet and everything you think he would be after watching the show.
Well, I am off to put a pork shoulder into the crock pot for some pulled pork sandwiches to be served tomorrow 
– YUM!!
